Gisela Büchele, born 1969 in Ulm, has worked for 10 years at the Institute of Biometrics, Ulm University. In 2002, she graduated the Masters Programme for Public Health at the University of Ulm. That year, she joined the PASTURE-group as an epidemiologist and has a position as a researcher at the Institute of Epidemiology, Ulm University, since then. Her main research interests are the epidemiology of asthma and allergies with regard to environmental determinants. Apart from the PASTURE / FORALLVENT / EFRAIM studies she is actively involved in other national and international multi-centre projects (e.g. ISAAC, GABRIEL).
